Aromatherapy CEU Courses Offered by Aroma Hut Institute


To meet the educational requirements to become Board Certified, you must obtain 750 hours of total education. If you do not have the minimum 750 hours of education, you will need to obtain the extra hours necessary to reach the 750 hours, of which you can obtain up to 250+ hours with our aromatherapy certification programs! GETTING STARTED WITH ESSENTIAL OIL


This essential oil class is now called How To Use Essential Oils For Aromatherapy. If you are new to essential oils, this is an aromatherapy course online free. If you have been looking to get started using your essential oils as a first-aid remedy, for making your own personal care products, or looking for natural chemical-free cleaning solutions, this is the course for you. This online aromatherapy course is written in an easy-to-understand format for learning about essential oils for everyday living and how to use essential oils for making blends for family and friends!




THERAPEUTIC BLENDING WITH ESSENTIAL OIL

AROMATHERAPY'S EFFECT ON DISORDERS AFFECTING THE TWELVE BODY SYSTEMS

AROMATHERAPY PROGRAM LEVEL 1 


This is a four-day live class on the therapeutic uses of essential oils that offers 30 CEUs. Upon completion of this aromatherapy course, you will receive a certificate of completion and be qualified to join NAHA as a Level One Certified Aromatherapist. Rebecca offers this four times a year. AROMATHERAPY LEVEL 1


This is our Aromatherapy Certification Online Level One course that offers 50 CEUs. An assortment of topics will be covered concerning the many aspects of aromatherapy including essential oil botany, essential oil usage, and business ethics and practices. In order to receive a certificate of completion, you will need to complete all of the lessons and quizzes, create blends and products covered in class, perform five case studies, and write a 3-5 page research paper on any aromatherapy topic of your choice. CLINICAL AROMATHERAPY LEVEL 2


This clinical aromatherapy certification online course offers 100 CEUs. You will have access to numerous videos, assignments, and several blending activities, coming away with a solid foundation in the clinical uses of essential oils. In order to receive a certificate of completion, you will need to complete all of the written lessons and quizzes, create blends and products covered in class, perform ten case studies, and write an 8-10 page research paper on any aromatherapy topic of your choice. You will need to have completed Level One (or a comparable course) in order to take this course. You will have one year to complete this course.


Throughout this hands-on course, you will work with thirty essential oils, study the chemistry of essential oils, and how they affect the anatomy and physiology of the body. Several videos, assignments, and blending activities will provide a solid foundation in the clinical uses of essential oils. Aroma Hut Institute’s Aromatherapy Certification Program integrates anatomy and physiology into the curriculum and covers the structure and function of each body system. Pre-existing health and medical professionals are still required to complete training in the application of essential oils for each system and the effect of essential oils on a variety of common ailments. It is our current understanding that for Board Certification renewal the NCBTMB requires massage therapists to complete 24 CE hours every 2 years. Of the 24 CE hours, 3 CE hours must be in research and 3 CE hours must be in ethics. Only 4 CE hours can be in self-care.

NCBTMB Board Certified Massage Therapist

How Long Does It Take To Become a Certified Aromatherapist?

Compared to a college or university 6-semester credit hour course with approximately 45-50 contact hours, this course is equivalent to 6 Semester Credit Hours with 3 hours spent studying online per week and 4 hours for study time (activities and case studies) per week for a 15-week semester. Upon completing this course, you will be qualified to join the National Holistic Association of Aromatherapy and present your certificate as a NAHA Certified Aromatherapist.
