Bath CookiesBath time doesn’t have to be fun just for kids! Add these cookies to your bath to enjoy, but please don’t eat!
These bath cookies are super easy to make and great for nourishing bath time! Kids love to make them too. Maybe they won’t put up a battle at bath time when these are available. This is also a fun craft for a women’s group or makes ‘n take class. Depending on which essential oils you use, it’s always nice to decorate with lavender buds or small rosebuds. These are better than bath and bodywork cookies!
What You Will Need:
1 cup finely ground sea salt
1/4 cup baking soda
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 tbs. light oil
1/2 tsp. vitamin E oil
2-3 drops essential oil
lavender buds or rosebuds
What To Do:
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Mix together all the ingredients.
- Spoon out a teaspoon of dough and roll gently into a ball about 1″ in diameter. Continue making balls and place them on an ungreased cookie sheet. (Be creative by decorating the cookies with lavender or rose petals, clove buds, orange peel, etc.)
- Bake the cookies for 10 minutes, until they are lightly browned. Do not over-bake. Allow the cookies to cool completely.
- For use, drop 1 cookie into a warm bath and allow it to dissolve. Yield: 12 bath cookies, enough for 12 baths.
