The Aromatherapy and Essential Oil Certification is a 200-hour aromatherapy program designed for the health professional, essential oil distributor, or layperson interested in the therapeutic uses and applications of essential oils. You will be provided with a clear and concise understanding of aromatherapy and how to use oils safely and effectively. It includes many aspects of aromatherapy, including essential oil botany, essential oil usage, essential oil chemistry, business ethics, and practices, which is why it is the best certification program for professional aromatherapy.

Course Duration: Max 12 months – can be completed in 18 weeks following self-study schedule.
Qualification: Professional Certified Aromatherapist
Course Recognition: The course is recognized by the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA).

Yes, when you graduate from our aromatherapy certification program, you will be able to call yourself a “Certified Aromatherapist” and use the initials “CA” behind your name. You may choose to join NAHA as a Professional Certified Aromatherapist with your certificate of completion.

Aroma Hut's aromatherapy program is approved for 150 CEUs credits through the NCBTMB.org (National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork) in all 50 states. Massage Therapists will come away with a solid foundation in the clinical uses of essential oils and earn 150 CEUs through NCBTMB.
How Long Does It Take To Become a Certified Aromatherapist?
How Long?
Compared to a college or university 6-semester credit hour course with approximately 45-50 contact hours, this course is equivalent to 6 Semester Credit Hours with 3 hours spent studying online per week and 4 hours for study time (activities and case studies) per week for a 15-week semester. Upon completing this course, you will be qualified to join the National Holistic Association of Aromatherapy and present your certificate as a NAHA Certified Aromatherapist.
